Bald Eagle Quilt Pattern
For all of you stars and stripes patriotic quilters out there who think that this would be a pretty easy pattern to do – you’re right!
Freedom Flight is at an easy-intermediate level, which means if you know the basics of quilting you can get this baby knocked out and flying in a day or two.

From our original panel we’ve created an easy-to-follow step-by-step guided pattern for Freedom Flight. With this option you can simply follow the directions and find your own fabrics and accents.
Skill level is “easy-intermediate” meaning you’ll find this easiest if you already know how to:
Quilt
Applique
Use a satin stitch
And trace outlines with accent threads (the embroidery thread on the beak and talons)
Even if you don’t know these skills, you can learn and practice them easily enough because Freedom Flight is not a hard or complicated pattern.

We use regular household thumbtacks to secure our fabric art panels for display. They hold the panel tight and fabric is self-healing, once the tacks are removed the holes will close up again.

• Recommended care and upkeep with a lint brush
• Machine wash (cool, delicate cycle with a gentle detergent) if needed
• Can be tumble-dried, although air-dry is recommended
• May be cool-ironed (cotton settings) to remove packing wrinkles. Safe to iron with water or spray-starch
